Hi all,
I have fitted a SS inductions T/B to my Boss 260. Whilst idling now, it surges between 600 and 900 rpm. Any ideas or anyone else had this problem. Any advice appreciated.

That's because the PCM doesn't know that for the same throttle angle you will have more air entering the engine so, it's confused.
You need to reflash the PCM or, better still, put the stock one back on. |

Shouldnt it adapt to the new air intake
And also did you accidentally pull off a vacuum line or something while fitting it? |

Yeah mine used to do it pretty bad. What I done was take the intake pipe off and let it idle for a couple minutes then u have a look at what angle the butterfly is at. Turn off the engine and adjust the screw on the side until the butterfly is at the same position as it was when it idles at normal RPM. Doing that made it run so much better, but when I got it tuned that got rid of it completely
