My BFGT302 snapped a tailshaft about 6" in front of the centre bearing and ford were not going to warrant it because the tyres looked like they had been hit up.

I think warranty dependds on the dealer and it wasnt until I wanted the direct number for the boss of FPV that they decided it would be a warranty job.

And as for the tyres they were reflecting the FPV drive day at QLD Raceway and at $2000.00 for a shaft plus on car balancing I was certainly going to jump up and down.

So in fords eyes you buy a performance car but have to drive it like a sigma or loose your warranty if anything goes wrong.

As long as you flash back to factory tune before ford hook up to it you should be sweet. Other than that, whack in a K&N filter don't worry about the exhaust or anything else unless you need to hear the sound at low RPM, it will make it's presence known when you put your foot down. The weakest part of the boss is the oil pump gears, so upgrade that and you will be sweet.

the ECU's now log the number of times it has been flashed so you cant get away with that anymore
