Isnt this kinda like the 70s XY GTHO where they 'claimed' that it had 300hp but had something more like closer to 400hp.

pps.
The difference between the GS and GT on the same dyno on the same day when we first tested them was 51rwkW, so forget about the 'claimed' 20kW difference as noted on the stickers, it's way more than that.

300hp claimed for the P3, 373hp when a stock but reconditioned one was tested in a comparison against the P4 engine (which made another 10hp). The factory rev limit was adhered to on both engines and both could have made more (the line was definitely pointing up on both graphs; refer SF66 p062).

The styling does kind of grow on you, but I think the way it drives might have something to do with it.
I still say the side stripe looks like the guy who did it tripped over when he started and just stayed on the ground to finish it, the intake manifold cover looks like a milk crate, and the wheels look like they were found on eBay, but you could paint this car pink and purple with blue pinstripes and I'd still want to drive it :lol:

They look good on a Boss 302 but, only on a Boss 302 not an FG.
Interesting how they are still using the TR6060 gearbox and the yanks aren't....maybe torque capacity is lacking in the U.S. job. I believe it's a Getrag MT82.

Remember when the XR6 Turbo was new and everyone was blown away by how good they were, and then after a while the cars went in for their first "genuine Ford service" and everyone started to wonder where all the power went?

Still on topic. TerroristGHIA and MRE50L were both present to witness this recently;
