It doesn't change the length of the intake trumpets so it wont increase low down torque but it might make the top half slightly cooler,id guess and say it wouldn't do much at all.
I would regularly remove the plenum and clean the oil out from the bottom half where it pools at the bottom of the intake trumpets, that makes a tiny difference to performance,it used to on my old ba xr8 anyhow.
Ingesting oil can cause pinging and a loss of power.

Ok cool thankyou however mace engineering do a 6.5mm plenum spacer <(installed) and a 6.3mm lower intake spacer which will increase the runner length and plenum space to allow more air in intake and decrease tems for not much coin would it be worth doing already have plenum spacer and you were correct with being slightly more powerfull up top but feels like it lost a bit down low

Also installing catch can to stop all that unwanted oil getting in my intake cleaner air would have to help in some way in theory clean oil free air would have to help perfomance with better combustion and fuel economy evan if its ever so slighly

You never mentioned the lower intake spacer,i think that would be more beneficial than the plenum spacer.
I actually have a catch can/air oil separator for sale that I never fitted to my ba xr8 if your interested.
It doesn't have a bracket though

You'd be better off getting some underdrive pulleys rather than these spacers.
