The TFS twisted wedge is a better head than the Edelbrock, but seeing as you've bought them already...

As for the tune side of things it depends on the cam and also how good you are at resetting the ECU's base parameters. Get it wrong and it will be a dog.

thanks, but im not going for outright HP, but for $1900 i think the trickflows were a bit more expensive about 2200 to 2300,but then when do you stop?? just want a good strong reliable package as this is going to be a daily driver ,i think its going to be a 3000 grand converter to suit the cam b303 fms ,how do you set the base parameters??

Certainly will go into limp home.
I have a morestall around 2700 rpm & modded the engine for more power. The extra torque etc forced it into Limp.
Jamie (66 coupe) installed a gizmo to trick the TCM - works a treat.

I ran my 347 on the standard computer for about 1000k's with the au maf and 36lb injectors it ran like s**t and now its getting rebuilt as it melted both head gaskets and got water thru it,this time when its built its going straight to the tuners, live and learn.
