was jus wondering if it was possible to put a cam into a clevo without taking the motor out of the car? can i get up under it nd do it???

the cam can be changed in the car but you have to pull all the front off the motor of eg fan, water pump, pulleys, radaitor, timing chain cover, timing chain, harmonic balancer and most of the time you have to pull the grill off so u can slide the cam out.

It's not so bad if you don't have air con, otherwise you'll probably have to remove the condensor and let the gas out.

ah rito, so, im thinkin bout a rebuild and stroker kit within the next eight months i was jus gunna get a cam then when the motor is out, but if the stroker kit and rebuild fell thru i wanted to put a cam in anyways, hmmm, anyone ever put a new cam into a 302 in a '74 zg fairlane haha how hard is it, haha. . . . ah well might just stick with the bigger carb and extractors for a lil longer . . . . wot do you guys think?
