i know that in the boss motors the money to upgrade the cams can be better spent,
but theres a ba xr8 forsale thats got a full exhaust intake tune etc, but has been rebuilt with stage 2 comp cams?

is there actually any decent power to be gained by cams in these motors?
or people just dont do them because money can be better spent elsewhere?

does anyone know what kind of power figures it could be making?

Depends what other work has been done to it. A full built motor will make around 310-320rwkw. Cams on a stock Boss 260 i wouldn't expect to see that much of a difference, but don't expect the bottom end to last long if it's still stock.
