Looking to get new cats for my EL XR8 and the centre muffler changed over to 2 small mufflers (one on each side).

I rang a few local prices and got quoted anything from 700 to 900 a pair for high flow cats!!

I have seen them on ebay for as low a $250 a pair so I know there has to be a happy medium somewhere in the middle.

They also wanted up to $180 for each muffler so im looking at up to $1300 which seems a little rich.

Can anyone recommend anyone they have delt with for this kind of work that are reasonable in Adelaide (I am in northern Adelaide but willing to travel)?

but there is really only way to get a good price and that's do it yourself.

other wise shop around.
spend about 30 mins of your day and ring every one in google lol
i rang around and ended doing it myself but the shop i spoke to that sounded the most capable
were auto masters on northeast road in the modbury triangle.

I got magnaflow metal cats from tuffcarparts. They do mailorder. Very fast delivery too. All paid and delivered in 3 days.
