i have a ba 03 xr8 at the moment she is putting out 340 fwkw.but my drama is the clutches i have got my hands on a heavy duty exedy single plate and lightened fly wheel. i was thinking of putting them on myself and was wondering if anyone has an idea about what i need and what is involed all help would be appreciated

p.s is there any adjustment in the stanard ones

Not sure on the BA but the Ford V8's are usually externally balanced. If this is also so on the BA then you will have to take both flywheels to a reputable place to have them match balanced otherwise your new you beaut flywheel will give you the S**ts with the bad harmonics.
So I guess what I'm saying is if you are going to replace the lot then get a reputable mob to do it for you. Then if its not right you have someone else to blame and seek restitution from.

5.4's are internally balanced.
I'm about to do the clutch on mine.... I'll let ya know how it goes steve.
