Where would I be able to source the upper intake plaque for the Cobra intake?
Or, who would fabricate one with whatever design I asked for?

+1, I've got the U.S version, obviously it's upside down, I was going to scan it,flip it, move things around a little and then try my hand at some engraving with the die grinder.

A good sign writer should be able to help, I had my 427 Nitrous Injection badges laser etched by a local sign writer and they came up a treat.

Matt, unfortunately my intake didn't come with an original engine plaque so I don't know what the dimensions are. :(
I'm still trying to get my hands on one.

If you could then that'd be great Jared. :)

That will do nicely for the measurements thanks. :)
Now I just need to put together the image that I want to place on the plaque which I will be able to sort out now.

what I was going to try was move the cobra wording to top left, 5.0 liter wording below it and the cobra picture to the right, that way the curve cut out can move down between the 5.0 litre and the picture, then find someone to make it, or try myself.

I made a plaque for my XR many years ago('94) using an adhesive backed aluminium labelling system that we had when I was at Orbital. I'm unsure whether it's still available but you basically made a negative of what you wanted and stuck it on the ally sheet and exposed it to UV light in a light box and then "developed" it with a special solution which would remove all the colour from the exposed area. I still have the artwork but mine actually said "351 HO"

Pete.
