Hi i was just wondering when im doing a slow speed like 40km/ like school zone the transsision convertor locks up as if i where doing 100km/h on the highway anyone have any ideas what would couse this.

Its on but still should not lock up as it only does 600rpm doing 40km/h and shutters until i put my foot down harder

It shouldn't lock up until 80kph. So check for a wiring fault, a dodgy solenoid or tcm issue.

How's your temp when it does this? Early lock can be caused by high temp of faulty trans temp sensing. Do a self test.

I have a scan tool at work does a self test and nothing its all good

It can be caused by high engine temp which, won't be picked up by a self test. I found this occurring when my clutch fan went south and engine temp went a bit high. It's logical because converter slip causes extra heat in the system so, they lock it early.
