The original fuel pump in my EL finally died after 14 years service so will need to suss out a replacement OEM pump on Monday. Does anybody know what an OEM pump goes for new?

Paid $60 at either employee price or trade (unsure what I got that time, know the boys well) at Sprint Auto Parts in SA a few months ago for a Goss item. Was for my 5.0 NF. I asked for a Bosch but the fellas said the Goss was fine.
So quite cheap! |

Well $60 isn't so expensive if that's the case.

Why not get a walbro Vic, I paid low 180's for mine a few years ago, so they shouldnt be that much dearer now.
And the 255 gives you head room as well for when you put a pump on that little 347. Brett

Oh I thought about it on Saturday but I'm not thinking of doing any further mods to it for a while so decided not to worry about it for now.
I spent time today pulling out the original pump. It was deader than disco. Looking inside the tank, I could see very very small shiny reflective shards. If you zoom in on this image to 100%, you can just see some shiny silver sparkles against the plastic. Just for peace of mind it was better to clean out the tank while it was open so out comes the fuel.. Anyhow, new pump is in and I'm mobile again.

Mine had sparkly fuel when I did it too.
I left it in. |
