I just bought the hi6s ford kit.

I was under the impression that it was a simple plug and play.... but im having drama.

the coil side of it is simple enough...

the other plug with the red and white wire... theres nowhere for it to plug into? have I got to splice it in somewhere?

I got the same kit and just revved up summit because the adapter harnesses had nowhere to plug into!?! It took several emails before they "got it". Now they're going to send me some weather pack connectors to fix it.
Your kit, if the same as mine should have two adapter harnesses, one to plug into coil connector and one to plug into the coil but nowhere to plug into the Hi6 harness!?
I've attached the latest wiring diagram they sent me which is different to the one that came in the box.

thanks for your reply.... I got a dodgy plug in my kit.

this is what ive got, the coil plug is not a problem.
{DESCRIPTION}

this is my problem... the black plug with the red and white wire. Is it supposed to plug into my dizzy? wheres it suppose to plug into? the red and white wire will be hardwired to the hi6s harness, but where then does that black plug go? it doesnt plug into the dizzy. did they give me the wrong plug? I had to cut the connector plug off it cause it was wrong.

That plugs into your original coil plug.
Think about the Hi-6 as going between your coil and your original harness.

Damn. Mine too came with only a single weather pack connector on one set of wires, I assumed it was normal and just soldered the others :oops: :(

Those instructions also look considerably different to the ones I have here in front of me :?
