Yes except for climate control stuff there is an extra temp sender in the heater pipes. Some EB's have a climate control of course.

Sorry I just saw you were comparing EF and EB. EF-Up won't have a separate temp sender for the temp gauge because they use the EEC ECT sensor and get serial data via the EEC to the cluster....otherwise they are the same.

Check your grounds...you should have zero ohms from block to battery negative. Is the block ground strap attached?...often this is forgotten during swaps as is the HEGO ground on the back of the intake manifold although, that has no bearing on ignition power.

Do you have 12 Volts at the coil?

Assuming you've replaced dizzy and coil with new ones? As the TFI module is a pretty common failure point in the dizzy's...

No spark is 1 of three things... Internal PIP module, external TFI module or coil... So I'd be making sure you've got volts to both the coil + side and the power wire into the TFI, Also the other red wire on the TFI is the crank wire... This should have voltage when the key is held to start... If power isn't getting to these then it isn't going to work...

As mentioned, power also wont get there if you missing hooking up the earth strap to the block...

Cheers,
Tim

have put dizzy and coil from a car i just drove in it
1.0 ohm resistant between block or any engine earth to battery -
there is 1 volts at coil and dizzy
there is power when u crank as well at the other wire
have tries ecu dizzy and coil from a running car and sill no charge
also left it for 30 mins to restset smartlock stuff just incase
put another dizzy cap of a car that was running
put multi meter on coil and it drops to 11volts when cranking
tested injector as well and it pulses
so not sure now lol bloody cars
