Iv'e read and heard alot of people seem to have a Di Filippo sytem on thier XR8's and GT's... they seem to be the " IN " brand these days..

I was thinking of thier mild steel system for my EL XR8, is $745 worth it compared to say a Lukey system of lesser value ?

Ive heard the AU XR8 on the Lukey website and it sounds pretty tough..

just wanted to know what people thought ? ie sound, quality ...

whats the real difference, much of muchness ?? :?

Pacemakers are better value for money.
I would go Paceys over Di Filippo anyday.

A long as the diameter is big enough and the cat and mufflers are straight through any system will do.
I'm more picky with headers than with the cat back system.

i agree as well. Any system will sound good. its just ive heard some sytems on v8's that sound terrible. My supercat muffler is nice, but I was after a bit more of a bark .. than a growl it gives.

Good systems i have heard just have 1 or 2 hotdogs oin it n thats it.

Mine just has a single berklry hotdog n sounds good aye. Extractors or hollow cats would give it more bark but

5L are pretty quiet, so you dont need to put much behind them
