I don't know about those specific cams but 1.7 rollers will give slightly more valve lift (and hence more hp/torque) because of the higher ratio - they're normally used when you want to (or have to) stay with your existing cam.

If you're looking at getting a new cam I'd say stick with the 1.6 rollers if that's what you've currently got and just target the right cam grind for desired driveablity/power.

Crane and Trickflow cams are something I've been looking into for quite a while as well as all sorts of other cam brands.
The TFS1 is probably the best stage 1 style off-the-shelf cam available and will give great mid and top end grunt at high rpm. The Crane 2030 is a very decent upgrade and will provide a good addition to both power and torque across the rpm range and the Crane 2031 is not far behind it. All three are within the stock ECU's ability to deal with and all three outperform the Tickford T200 / T220 factory cams fitted to the AU XR's - for comparison. These off-the-shelf cams are a very popular upgrade to many Windsor small block owners and reasonably affordable considering that they're hydraulic roller cams.
The roller rockers are useful as described above to increase valve lift as well as reducing friction and the work load thus freeing up some power.

standard aren't roller though so would be better off replacing them.

pretty sure the crane is a tad more expensive than the trickflow. I have heard highperformanceworld do the TFS1 for $290, not sure about the crane though but I think around $350
