Guys
Just wondering how to tell weither or not its the 185kw or 200kw xr8 ute in the series 11. Looking at the engine bay do both in that year have the same engine cover the new type.... the one im looking at is march 01 tried redbook no info on when the motor difference came out steve

grab the engine number and call ford, they may be able to tell you

185kw motors in the utes didn't have engine covers, only the 200kw did. If i remember right, it's after september 01 when all the utes got the 200kw motor.

Intresting , the one im looking at has the engine cover yet its a march build in 01
wonder if theres any other way of knowing anything else to look at...

Dont the 200kw ones have the builder's name on the rockers?
