I have a 94 ED with the EEC IV air box and i have seen alot of pictures of EB-ED with the EEC V airbox, now the EEC V box is from a EF+ Is there a reason people change the air box or has mine been changed?

I was thinking the change to a EF airbox was for a bigger snorkel or something??

Yeah thats generally the reason, cheap upgrade and getting more air in.

Also fits too without too much hassle.

For the V8's, the airbox is the same EB-AU.. I dont believe there are any differences at all?!

Also, the snorkel fits on the bottom, so that wouldnt explain why you're seeing different top halves!
