there are a few around that look pretty much the same. some are very good quality and use bochs internal parts and good bearings and gears. these normally cost around $300. There are also the cheaper nasty ones, yes they work but don't normally work for to long.

I personly use 'Nardek" branded dizzies. they use bochs internals. i've had one failure in over 200 sold and/or fitted. It was replaced under warranty.

If you google nardek you can download the catalog in PDF.

I run a standard type distributor in my XBGT. I had it recurved to suit my cam (approx $150 a few years ago) and fitted a Pertronix Ignitor and flame thrower coil I bought off ebay (about $170 6 months ago). I found these made a huge difference it actually idles when it is cold now and no more misfiring when you are giving it to it!!

I have heard Ice ignitions and MSD are really good but I couldnt justify spending the money.

Hope this helps.
