Dude - If you had time, I would suggest waiting to make your decision after going to a FPV club dyno day, so you can see and hear the difference between different E series V8 exhaust systems.

You have heard my car - I run a single 3" system. And contrary to popular belief, you will not lose bottom end torque with a 3 inch system.

There used to be a nice EL with a twin 2.25" system in the club, sounded awesome. Almost stock engine too. I will see if can find any vid footage for you.

i got dual 2.5 with balance pipe, and it bogged down low big time, but got the 3.7's and that fixed that problem, even revs freely to the point where the paccies work at their best turning my land slug into something half decent... as for the sound well its awesome!! some single 3inch systems sound great on the old 5.0 though...

Raiki, what springs are you running in your car? I have superlows in the front and ultra in the rear and I got a full 2.5 inch twin system under it fine. But yeah it does hit on the diff over some bumps, still its completely possible. Anyway I have pacies, hi flow cats, and a muffler on each, no balance pipe and no resonators - sounds really good, no droning and good volume too. Never noticed any drop down low but being the ghia it already has 3.45 diff or something.

Brad x-over pipes were origionally designed to take the cackly noise out of older V8s.They do give better performance and are usuall located behind the gearbox to be a shorter length of pipe needed.3inch single or twin 2.25 straight through mufflers,no resinators is ideally suited to what you want.Im running a twin system on my EF same as above with two high flow cats, sounds awesome.3 inch single will give you a bit more power but nothing sounds better than the twin.2.5 twin to big and will rob a fair bit of power.
