i have just come into possesion of the course document from a ED V8 EEC IV ECU specialist course that goes into great details about the inner workings of the ecu..
an example would be the page dedicated to the reverse gear torque reduction function, or in Ford speak, the TID(transmission input data) and gives info in the three modes it can operate in, aswell as three pretty diagrams, one if which is a sine wave showing you what the signal looks like. thats page 37 of 95. i can probably get these scanned in and converted to a compressed tiff format, but what to do with them after that i dont know. perhaps a fordmods online tech document?
