ok, so wot have you people done to EB/ED v8s airbox setup???

kept the stocker?

pod?

or something else?

what snorkels fit? (coz some foul on PS pump)

has anyone dusted off the holesaw and gone south?


from what ive read theres no straight answer coz everyone seems to do the old XH snorkel trick on the 6s... and its ok for EF+ models coz the ELGT one would work.....

i use an EF xr8 one... its a bit dodgy in that you need to screw through new holes. other than that it fits ok. cant see that its that much if any difference though the stock one was pitiful. anyway.. i guess its ok for a cheap mod, probably doesnt do anything tho imo anyway,

The EL XR8/GT snorkle is a decent and cheap upgrade, add that to a decent panel filter (K&N or BMC) and you have enough flow for around 180rwkw. I run a 4" intake duct through the side fender and to the front spoiler, but unless you are running a fairly high power engine (200+rwkw) you probably wont see any difference.

I have both the XR8 Snorkel and a whopping great 5inch hole in the bottom of the airbox down to the corner lamp on the front bar. Also use a K+N Panel filter for the stock look. If you didn't know you would assume mine was stock intake
