Hey all, im keen to know if it is possible to get a full twin exhaust system on a e-series falcon. I have been reading alot of post regarding exhaust systems and every one says go twin. But does twin mean from cats to exhaust tips or twin from cats to diff then single out the back???
I would like a twin 2.5" from the cats to tail pipes, can it be done?? |

Definately possible. Its just finding an exhaust shop that thinks the same and is willing to do it.

I've got a full twin 2.5" setup on my EB as well, with twin 2.75" tips in the std cutout on the rear bumper.

Twin 3" in mine... It can be done.. But we made our own muffler...
Here's the middle section and muffler.. With single 3" beside it...

Yeh, I've also got a dual 3 inch system on my EB now. The single 3 inch sounded better but the stainless 1 now certainly flows better. I did contemplate a twin system at the end but it was too much hassle with the spare wheel well in the way on the passenger side.

Hey Ratman, that is a very very nice looking exhaust. A top quality job with nice fit and finish. Do you have a pic of the rear end, How do the Tips finish?? |

Thanks for the compliments guys, yeh I've been througha few variations on exhaust and this is the last 1 - although I'd like to lose the rear 2 hotdog style mufflers. Cost was pretty exe but I suppose hand done in stainless, 2 new cats/ 4 mufflers + coating the headers at $2.5k is fair.
The tips look ok, dual 3inch side by side through a crappy hole in the kit that the mechanics reckon looked ok but I'd disagree. It's going in to get a new return lip of fibreglass put in around a reshaped oval hole in about a fortnight so I'll post before and afters when its done. Also gonna cleanup and detail / paint the underside - still doesn't look too bad for a 17 year old car though.
