Gday all,
So seems my sump gasket is now stopping me from getting a RWC. Its leaking. Just wondering what everyone's best advice is on fixing this in a home workshop. I don't mind getting in there and doing the work but I could be at my limits with dropping a k-frame and engine with what I have. I have a jack and stands, but no engine crane. So if anyone could explain the basic procedure for me to make this as easy as possible, I'd be most obliged. Also if you have had it done by a workshop what did it cost? I'm going to get quotes as well. Thanks Ben

hmmm.....
one way would be to jack up motor & chock up the engine mounts so you have room to drop sump enuf.... 2nd way ... hire a hoist 3rd hire someone else to do the work do NOT lift the motor by just sitting the jack under the sump ... you will crush the sump dropping k-frame sounds like tooo much work ta me |

Engine out or drop the k frame. It is 692 billion times easier to do it with the engine out and on a stand upside down.

But i'm sure you have a mate that you can borrow one off
