so this afternoon i was putting thermo's on the eb exactly the same as i did with my ed a couple of weeks ago my ed is fine runs grate thermo's work grate but after i finished my eb i went to start it and i noticed the fuel pump didn't cut out and thought oh s##t thats not good and sure enough it wasn't good it turned over but wont start. im new on hear and its my first forum so please have patients with me

Sounds like you've fried the EEC.

check ALL wires are connected to battery especially earth wires-
check all fuses -
check fuel pump relay (under coolant bottle back of battery) -
how did you wire fan -

So it turens out the ECU shat itself.
