Should i change my valley cover gasket? I NEED HELLLLP PLZZZZ When you say you did the inlet gasket, I think you might have actually just changed the plenum gasket, which is the gasket that goes between the two halves of the manifold. No water get's down there unless it's leaked in from the EGR valve, which is water cooled. To do the valley cover gasket, you will also do the manifold to cylinder head gaskets too. Water in there, could be from the EGR plate, when you did the throttle body did you also remove the EGR plate & do the gasket behind it? Cheers ToranaGuy

The inlet manifold was full of WATER!??!!!?
If the EGR valve is jammed open it will indeed stop it from starting. |
