Thanks for that offer dude. I got the 6cyl rack in, with the switch & it clears the extractors with enough room for the engine to move on the mounts without hitting the switch. Front end is all hooked up. I'll fill it up with fluid in the morning.

I just have to bash the firewall back into shape where the accelerator peddle goes so i can hook up a new peddle, and then i can take it for a quick spin (once i get a permit ;) ) Then it will be off to get the firewall properly pulled back into shape, it's only at the bottom of the firewall on the drivers side. Didn't damage the rails at all. Bent the steering rack, due to lower ball joint breaking & allowing the wheel to bend & hit the lower firewall under the guard.

Otherwise the car was in fairly reasonable condition for what i paid for it.

Cheers

Your welcome. Hopefully it will help to dispel the BS that we are told from some workshops & parts outlets that 6cyl racks won't fit a v8. They will, just leave the switch in & don't hook it up or plug the hole for the switch. Simple.

Cheers
