I reckon my sprints got the quietest V8 note ever....
Bin speakin to barney at Hallam exhaust about doin a twin 21/4 system for the sprint.

Single muffler, maybe a resonator if required.

Has anyone used the remus or xforce mufflers (with electric damper control) on their eight??

I do a lot of k's each day and dont want to be chased around by noise but a bit of bark on full thottle would be nice. :)

i've heard a few of barneys twin 2.25s on 5Ls, not sure what mufflers, but they've all sounded nice.
i think you'll be fine with a single muffler.
i've got a single 2.5" on mine with a single redback muffler, and it doesnt drone on the freeway and isn't too loud. i've driven it to canberra and i do alot of freeway km's and its never got to me.
if you put an x or h pipe in it will quieten a bit too.

hi mate.

on my el xr8 i have a set of EL GT extractors with high flow cats and a s.25 system with H pipe. it only has one muffler per side (dont know brand just cheap straight throughs) and it sounds great. nice burble at idle and light throttle but not too loud, but still has plenty of bark when you mash the pedal, highly recommended!

A twin 2-1/4 all the way to the diff with 2 magnaflow mufflers then join into a 2.5 or 3inch single pipe over the diff and maybe a resinator at the rear depending on how loud or drone.

I have a similar setup. Merges into single 2.5" with 1 lukey muffler before the diff and another after.

Has a really nice note but abit too quiet for me so I think i'm going to get one of the mufflers replaced with a straight pipe.

Id leave the last muffler on and take out the center so less chance of drooning
