You bought it then Carl?
Your throttle body is too big for starters. Drop back to a 70mm max. If your MAF is still there take it out and as some others have said....2 1/2" twin or 3" single exhaust. What headers are on it? Oh and of course lose the davies craig rubbish. Who dialed in the ECU? Pete. |

Hope they didn't do the wiring? Could be something as simple as the oversized t-body causing the whistle. What inlet tube have you got? Pete. |

nah Graydons Mech Repairs in Belmont did the install way back in 1999. haha
if that helps pete If its an overside t/b then surely that wouldnt be the reason why the times are pretty average.. I have most of the receipts for the car but i cant find anything about the cam.. It sounds standardish I might be confusing the .497lift with the cyl head specs.. I wouldnt be suprised if its a stock or very very mild cam |

I see you have an RPM intake...not really suited to the rest of the combo although we still don't know what cam specs you have exactly? That inlet pipe could be making the whistling sound. Have you got a stock inlet tube to throw on?(if not Ive got one you can try) It doesn't look like the MAF is there from that pic? Pete. |

I would expect the normal Performer intake would "outperform" the Performer RPM at almost all points under 6000rpm... |

Can that be improved by fitting one of the edelbrock spacers between the upper and lower?
