Hi,
I have just upgraded to the au intake on my EF. I have a Tickford throttle body I would like to fit but it has no provision for the egr spacer assembly. If I blank off the water lines and disconnect the valve will the car run ok??
New Throttle body is about 70mm and is longer so it will not fit on with the EF EGR spacer. (I hope this makes sense!!).
Thanks in advance

Generally people just loop the 2 coolant lines together to bypass it, and it should still run ok although i've heard of some people saying part throttle pinging may occur. Run it on premium and it should be ok. Or get the egr switched off by using a j3 chip or tuned via quarterhorse.

I'm not sure EGR delete has been cracked for EF/EL ecu's. It's definitely not the same as EB/ED, fault codes persist even with EGR Type set to 2. If you just remove the hardware, you will get torque truncation. The best way to avoid trouble is to leave everything connected up electrically and vacuum wise. This gives ecu the correct feedback & avoids problems
