I used this, from an AU but I think it is pretty much the same, except for the fans

58- Vehicle speed sensor;
61- HEGO 2;
64- PRND switch;
65- EGR valve position sensor;
66- self test input;
67- canister purge
68- Thermo fan relays 2 & 3;

Are you sure they're not 104 as well?

Just a quick question. Would I be able to tap into wires 45 and 89 to get a signal for data-logging of rpm and tps? Or would I need to use an alternate method?

You should be able to for the tacho but probably not for the TPS. I have found when the sensors use a ref voltage you can't unless you start building other electronic components but that is getting way over my head.
I tried it with an aftermarket temp guage and it rooted things up.

All EECV's are 104 pin except the EL 4.0 which is like an EECV in an EECIV case hence it has 60 pins.
You should be able to log TPS and other signals scaffy. Just be sure the input impedance to your logger is high(and it should be if it's a decent logger) then it won't effect what the EEC is reading.

Thanks for all that info. I'm splicing a v8 harness into a xf ute with xg dash and harness.

Bugger, does anyone have a 104 pin connector to sell?

Hey Chris,

Do yourself a favour and fit the whole EF-L harness into the car and use an XH cluster that way it will all work with your EEC and engine. It's less work than splicing the two together.
I'm in the process of splicing an AU 5.0 EEC harness into an XG van harness which is a bit more involved. I couldn't get an entire AU harness but it would have been quicker if I had.

Pete.

Thanks Pete. I was going to use the eb 2 computers and harness but too much wiring. I got a 104 pin plug today out of an au and i've almost done but still need an ecu.
