Finally took the Ghia in for the auto service today, I noticed the changes were getting harder and more violent albeit the shift kit. So decided it possible for the S5 solinoid to be stuffed -(thanks SEARCH )
Also yesterday, when moving off- whether it be from cold start, or traffic lights after 30 min 's of driving- the car seems to be in "D" or first, however will do sort of a clutch roll off into motion?! So not a full - not in gear "clunk" but a smooth roll like into driving Intermittently.

The thing feels like a new car with the shifts, and the kit as it used to be!! Very happy... I forgot how much I hate the smooooooth roll into first - like a good auto should! But guess what $500 later( Service inc flush, change of S5 and new selector bushes) Auto Tech cannot alleviate "roll off" issue- says somthing about a sleeve and holes not lining up requiring removal of box and basically as he puts it "may as well do an overhaul' I am illiterate as far as Auto's go.

Anyone got ideas? one other thing...Was I overcharged? I know a service is about $120 - $140 depending, S5 is about 120ish? hmm


Also my cruise control has decided to not sit where I tell it to- with constant pedal fluctuating up to 5 km per hour with the pedal noticably going up and down any speed I hope Im not haunted !~
I will also note my km/h needle on the dash has been jumpy for quite a while.
