There is no point in upgrading your ecu yet.
Do some more work to it first then upgrade the ecu (camwork, port polish, forced induction)

Stock computer is fine for engines up to 200rwkw and even then it only needs some fine tuning. Plenty of the US guys run them in 10sec cars with only a chip or edit. You want to look at a lot of other engine mods before you even need to think about the computer.

why wait untill u have done the performance work then have a ecu installed?

why not install aftermarket ecu and tune the car stock. there can be a good gains made on a stock setup, ie lean cruise as ford make the cars run rich from factory!
so whne u get your zorst, heads, cam etc done you will have experiance with the ecu and notice even more gains!

Not really, the V8 EEC is more than enough and doesn't run rich like the I6's unless there are problems. They run at a constant 14.64 while cruising and go to around 12.4:1 at 100% load. There are tons of V8's running around with stock EECs with very good power and economy.
