I have this top end kit with a standard auto and havent had any problems with the box, I also ordered the kit from summit and had no problems with their service. If you are going to use a phenolic spacer make sure you dont buy the one inch spacer as the tps will hit the bonnet, you will need a smaller size

ELGT - we're talking about the Trick Flow top end kit, which includes alloy Twisted Wedge heads. E7s are out of the picture...

Read the post, it says

TrickFlow Stage 1 cam
1.7 Roller Rockers
TrickFlow Intake manifold
70mm TB

No mention of heads, and a total waste of money on E7's really, in my opinion he would be better off buying heads first, but if he has heads in mind as well, great, only way to go.

The BBK SSI-R that you have on yours won't fit reversed on an E-series as the dizzy will hit. Also, that manifold would kill all bottom end on a 302ci motor unless it's got forced induction or built to rev hard.

ELGT - Thanks mate, I have read the thread and you may have noticed I've been contributing to it. If you open one of the links we've been talking about, you will notice they are for the Trick Flow top end kit which does include Twisted Wedge heads. The thread has evolved beyond the first post. Maybe some people find it hard to keep up? :P

dutchy - I've been meaning to call you when I've been home to see how yours is going, but I never get around to it. Have you got all the issues sorted? Is it running better now?

Yeah mate, I see that, I was responding to his original post, which only said the stuff mentioned, and then from there you went on to say the whole top end kit.
I was saying what he originally posted was a waste without heads.

These have the same lower as the SSI-R and I've seen them reversed as well. I haven't seen them in a comparison against other intakes, though. Except for a write-up between this one and the SSI-R.

ELGT - Sweet as, bud :)
