hey guys my mate has a ef xr8 any way last night we drove it for a hour and a half pulled up at a mates house left it for about a hour then went to get back in to start it it would just turn over but wouldnt fire, now can hear the fuel pump start up have tried a new coil and lead from coil to dizzy now is there anything else to check? need some urgent help thanks guys cheers

Possibly the TFI module on the dizzy.

Check for spark while cranking. Check the fuel injectors are pulsing. Check there is pressurised fuel in the fuel rail (carefully depress the schrader valve, and cover your eyes with safety's). If all 3 are OK, put your foot on the gas pedal, push it to the floor and hold it there while you crank for 30 seconds. Turn it off, then try and start it normally (no gas pedal at all). If any of the above don't work, you can investigate the correct area. If possible, run a diagnostic scan.
