FTG ones are just the Ford ones. There are two models to look at, either the EL GT/XR8 or AU XR8 snorkle. Both flow the same, the EL GT/XR8 one is easier to fit on E-series cars without modifications but does not come with the tickford wings like the AU one has. Either one should set you back around $30 from Ford.

Just to clarify - the AU snorkel needs to be played around with to get clearance from the power steering pump on e series. ELGT snorkel already has the provision for the clearance requried.

^ but yes - what he said!!

martin, ive heard everyone say that but myself and matti never had that problem? mine fit straight in. cut about 3 mm off the front of the snorkel to bolt it into the same place and was fine?

What you doin in the V8 forum fuzion? lol

Nah, talking about the power steering pump on the V8. 6 shouldnt be a problem, it's on the other side of the motor IIRC, but the 8 has it smack bang behind the snorkel.

Ive seen Shane (Mr landau's) AU Xr8 snorkel fitted to the NL 5.0L, he just heated it with a heat gun and reshaped the bit that fouls on the pulley.
