Hi All,
Just basically want advice and helpful links or suggestions on how to go on about such a project. We want to get a donor EL v8 and put it into the mustang, anyone done such a task? Thanks, Izzy.

You won't have too many issues..
The Clevo and BBF where fitted to them.. It's the sump location to Xmember ??? From memory the early Mustangs are front sump.,

A '72 with a V6? What's that doing in there?
What you want to do isn't too difficult wiring wise though. Just use the EEC main harness and engine harness and strip out any extras like ABS etc. You could retain smartlock if you wanted to? having said all that, they are a lard asre car so a minum of a 351w should be considered and you could run that with the same EL EECV. |

That's why I said "what that doing in there?" They didn't come with V6's That happened in '74 with the poxy Mustang II.
