hi all,
im after some opinons, i have an el xr8 on lpg, sometimes the idles drop right down and the motor starts to hunt up and down and you can smell the gas it is strong, then it goes back to normal after awhile, i have 2x new oxygen sensors, new plugs, leads, coil, tps, dizzy, rotor and cap, i havent changed the egr valve yet???, on petrol it seems to be ok, the gas has only been in for a little while, otherwise the car goes great, i have been chasing this for awhile and running out of options, maybe someone out there might be able to steer me in the right direction??????? |

My wagon did this too after I first had it converted to LPG. Now that you have changed all the ignition stuff, take it back to the installer who should plug in his little computer thingy and then tune the gas after the convertor's diaphram has 'worn' in a bit. If you have a good installer, he will know what to do. My bloke was very good. |
