Mine had 3 double plug fusible links right beside the battery and 1 single fusible link slightly further away, kind of under the water reservoir.

I'm no sparky but it sounds like the alternator regulator is not outputting a smooth DC voltage to the car; although I wouldn't think you'd actually visibly see the pulsating in the gauges. How many times does it pulsate her second would you say?

How many times does it pulsate her second would you say? See above - I believe it was my negative battery terminal, the part that the relays etc under the reservior tank hook up too. I also changed the positive terminal, cleaned out the fusible links and cleaned up the contact points on the earth strap. Problem has complete disappeared as a result. |
