Is anyone running a twin straight pipe 2.5 cat back exhaust and how loud is it with only the middle muffler,

I'm running an X-force 2 1/2" twin on a 290 with their cats and Difillipo 4into1's and I've tried removing the rear section so there's only the forward muffler and it's f**k deafening! I went up to the shop in it and everyone came out of the shop to see what the f**k was going on!?
It's also sounds f**k horrible so I put the rear muffler on again.
