How the hell do you undo the plastic circle thing that holds the fuel pump cage into the tank. Stupid book says i have to pull me rear bar, and as a result it just ate a socket, so the bar deninitely has to come of now.
Need help urgently

We have a tool made up to knock the lugs on fuelpump ring. You have to be very violent with them to get them off. Once they get off the Oring they come far more easily. Putting them back is much the same.

Yeh you can use a small but hard piece of wood and a hammer to tap
it around until it comes loose. ehen putting it back screw it up by hand then tap it tight. have fun..

I did eventually get it, but had to get some big a** multi grips. Problem solved. 1 255lph Walbro now installed. Shane i didn't notice any change in the fuel pressure at idle, is this as a result of the factory regulator??. If so birng on the Kirban. will set static pressure to about 50PSI( is 40 PSI at idle, then jumps to 60 when the throttle is cracked). Thanks for the help guys

The standard fuel pressure regulator will not allow any more pressure to the injectors - what it will do with the big pump is give you some reserve when the dry N20 kit is activated. You can never be too safe - especially when nitrous is concerned.
