Flash it back to stock using your flash tuner.

it wont download back to stock settings, the flash tuner wont connect to the computer, ford said their diagnostic trouble code tool wont connect either. they pretty certain the computer has been wiped, is it possible for c.a.p.a to have stuffed up the custom tune in the first place.

It's hard to tell without knowing exactly what they did. Did they open the ECU case at all?

Does the current capa tune work? I'd talk to capa about it; maybe they have the ability to lock their tunes?

You can't open the PCM on BA-up vehicles...they are glued shut. Besides no one at a ford dealership will know what they're looking at even if they did get inside.
I've seen this before with sct stuff unfortunately. It could be a CAN problem but usually if you've flashed the PCM it is where the problems lie. If the programming procedure was interrupted or there was a problem with the calibration being corrupt it will screw the whole system up. crapa may have to fix it for you.
Does the car run?

yeh ford didnt help much at all, i have removed the pcm and going to send that and the flash tuner to herrod motorsports, the programmed seemed to have uploaded properly everything looked good and installed good, the car did drive for bout 60kms then stopped. if the calibration was corrupt or there was an interruption in the programming procedure would the car have run at first? i cant get my head around it. capa seem pretty helpful for now, are they likely to try and wipe their hands of it. lol crapa....

Being CAPA have been banned from importing SCT gear for what they've been doing. I wouldn't like my chances of them helping.

IMHO if it worked after the flash, then died afterwards, something else is wrong, not the flash process.

I agree with datamine. Did you play or anyone try to do anything with the computer during those 60 or so km?

CAPA were openly breaking SCTs contractual rules. By enabling the reselling of used flash boxes.

A tuner used to be able to unlock a flash box when the car it was locked to was reflash with the factory tune. CAPA was unlocking locked boxes without the necessary flash back to factory. Now thanks to them a 2nd hand flash box is essentially a paperweight as no one can unlock them now.

(so don't buy a 2nd hand flash box)
