Hi guys the idle on my 5.0 is only running at 600 rpm, which I think is a touch on the low side,,is there an easy way to bump it up to 850-900rpm ...it drives fine an no problems other than a low idle..
If I turn the idle screw up to change it wont the computer just re-learn it's way back to 650 rpm. |

Touching the idle screw is a good way to completely stuff the idle. If it moves too far it will go out of range and then you get hunting etc.
If it's not stalling then 600 rpm is around where it should be. What's the issue? The only real way to fix it is with a quarterhorse or chip to change the idle rpm in the tune. |
