You could try and ring Rocket Industries, High Performance World or even VPW.
You might also find that buying it from Jegs or Summit Racing in the U.S. will be a reasonable price even after their international freight charges and conversion to the Aussie dollar. ( Summit's air freight is cheaper than Jeg's though )

I am actually researching this exact manifold.
I rang Eagle Auto Parts in Victoria. Found them on the Ford Racing Parts website. There is an office in Sydney as well. Eagle Autoparts 8 Marigold Pl Revesby (02) 9771 5566 I got quoted by the Victoria office The unpolished version is around $720.00 Polished version is around $920.00 Basically $200 difference for the polished version. You can also check out ebay.com in America for this part as well. Bit cheaper but unsure of the freight involved. Better to source locally unless you are taking a trip to the States anytime soon. |

Can get polished manifold + ford racing rocker covers from the states for $1000 Aus + postage. So unless shippings going to be $300 seems like a better deal.

Is that including import taxes? Don't forget if the value of the item is above I think $800 Australian there is import taxes which have to be applied.
Just check that out and your shipping to be sure. Did you get that price for the parts from ebay or another source? |

to swerve the import duty, just get the supplier to send goods in parts of under the max amount. i think its $900. frieght should not be affetced as it goes on weight.
some auto parts are exempt, ie valve gear, pumps, etc. as a new ruling last year. its on the customs website. hope this helps

The prices are from the Jegs website (thanks Vic). Manifold $651 AUD , rocker covers , $406. Rocker covers might end up being cheap here at $240 each.

Thats seems a lot of money for that sort of manifold.
There is a Cobra upper for sale on FordForums at the moment for 250, and a Cobra/Explorer/GT40 lower for sale on eBay for $50... Why are you so keen on the Cobra manifold? |

Cobra manifold are quite good as used on the xr8 sprint. I guess if not the cobra it would be an aftermarket item such as an edelbrock performer would be the next choice. But more expensive obviously.
Cobra has the benefit of the built in EGR if I remember right. |

Explorer is at the same performance level as the Cobra. Although few Explorers support EGR... (only EL2, i think?)
Explorer manifolds can be had incredibly cheaply at the moment. I have seen more than a few go for around $400. I bought one a couple of weeks back for $350. |

If you can tell me where to start looking for the EL manifold because i've had no luck. Also this is the lower manifold different between EF and EL2.
