should be fine, but if you have the phenolic spacer you should have no worries at all.

also if you run into trouble with the rocker gear hitting the top of the covers, you can use two gaskets to raise them up a little

Ive got them with two gaskets and I had to grind some of the castings to clear roller rockers.

I have the Cobra style Ford rocker covers. They fitted perfectly on mine and i have the an RPMII. No clearance issues at all, but i got the wrong set as they are for a NON efi motor and dont have the return for the the Throttleboddy as my standard ones did

If you need more clearance, Edelbrock make a manifold spacer to suit the Performer manifold. Part number is #8727

I have a Performer 5.0 manifold with a 3/8" spacer, 1.7 YT roller rockers and Ford Racing rocker covers - no worries at all.

I just ordered a set of the EFI Cobra covers from Summit $149.95US, just under AUD$200, even with postage they are cheaper than I could find in Oz.

matter of interest - you may need truck ones so oil filler is on passenger side. I had clearance issue for filler tube using Edelbrock Performer 5.0 manifold even with spacer. try http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/pa ... Field=6240
