I think i heard orbital systems? if anyone knows.
But im sure they cut to full petrol at 70% throttle.

They are meant to work relay well on the turbo 6's, depends on
power levels.

Yep and yes they cut to petrol.

Supercharged LPG works fine.

I've been running it for 18 months on a Mitsi 380 at 12 psi boost.

The good thing about LPG and forced induction is that you can get selected fill up stations that have 100% propane pumps like the one we have in Geelong.

That gets you 110 octane....(better than 98 premium for 60c a litre.)

The system I use is the Impco sequent 56 system, it basically consists of small nozzzles drilled into the inlet manifold just before the intake valve, connected by small rubber hoses which in turn connect to a small LPG injector rail.

The supercharger setup I chose has a 7th injector for extra fuel delivery.

0-100 in under 6 seconds and a 13ish quarter mile....around 200kw atw.

Hope that inspires someone to realize that LPG is a good thing with boost.

lol... plenty of 'better' inspiration out there :P

but it is good to see something different done, wouldn't be many LPG injected 380's with a supercharger ;P

theres an EA in WA running 10's or something on LPG Injection.

theres no doubt it could be done, for someone willing to front the cash.

its a shame this thread was started by someone with no intention or ability to actually do it

seriously why.. are the running costs that high? just sell the thing if it drinks.. its not meant to be run on gas let alone it will look like a** underneath the bonnet.

most injection setups look near stock under the bonnet, much smaller components mean they can be hidden quite well.. and depending on the type of supercharger, there may be bulk room under the manifold.

cheaper running costs don't seem like a bad thing to me?

Gee alot of people commenting on here with no idea

Don't JTG do like a liquid injection kit that can handle like nearly 400rwkw's or something.

Yeah gas installs are so messy you can so tell that the missus XR8 motor is on gas  (although it isn't supercharged but still same principle)

Easiest way to ruin a nice GT would be to put it on gas. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should

Case in point;

I hardly see how putting the latest gas system on a GT will wreck it. The new systems are making more power than petrol.

its a bloody BA/BF/FG GT/P... mass produced sedan with fancy badges.

hardly what i'd call ruining it.
If i was in the market for a 2nd hand GT, one with a decent LPG system on it (like that of a liquid injection setup) would spark my interest more then one without.

just to stir some s**t :P what about e85?? you would get more power as the octane rating is quite high so boost and timing can be increased
