The only extractors that will properly fit the GT40 heads or after-market alloy heads on an E series falcon is factory ELGT (also fitted to EL/XH series II XR8) or Defilippo's as they were designed for GT40 heads.
You can use run use normal after-market E series extractors with GT40's but it's a total b**ch having to drop them off to change the plugs and they always melt the HT leads due the angle of the plugs in the head. They still fit; its just not ideal and you have high failure rate on the HT leads. AU extractors are a no go on an E series V8 falcons. |

The solution had been kevlar heat sleeves that slide over the spark plug boot and prevent heat from affecting the leads at all. I've been running them for years now and I'm still on the same set of ICE leads too.

If you are going to get the Trick flow heads. Get the Trick Flow Street Heat, or Track Heat combo. You get heads, stage 1 cam and intake manifolds. With the way your dollar is at the moment, it's pretty good buying. |
