Hi there guys. just a quick question to ask you all.
Im thinking of buying an NU V8 Fairlane but im not sure on a few things.

The car in question has a pod filter but no air box. Is the airbox the same between the V8 E and A series cars?

I have taken the gas system out of my old NF Fairlane and was going to fit it to the new NU fairlane. does anyone know ruffly how much it would cost?

someone has replaced the interior light with a roof mount but has taken the screen. Are the interior lights the same?

Is there anything on an NU v8 that i should be caustious of?

cant think of anything else right now but i will. any help would be appriceated

Air box from E series will go in no issues, contact a gas installer re the install and tune for your gas system, Fairmont fairlane and LTD are all the same interior light In relation to the gas install, if you still have the install receipt from the NF, look at that total price less the supply of most parts and you will have a rough idea on how to answer your own question.

Another thing to look at is the Climate unit, the fan speed controllers have a reputation for failure, either read up on fixing it and have the parts ready or get one from a wrecker and put it on the shelf for a rainy day. Also bushes in the IRS may be due for replacement. Gearbox service history is worth an eye in as well, as I am learning about 2k for a rebuild.
