Not yet. I will be doing this afternoon after I've gone to the dentist. I'll post up the price at about 5 - 5:30pm Perth time. |

Could be a goer.
I've decided to get a cam for the V8 while the heads are off cause its gonna be heaps cheaper to do it then rather then later. Going to get the heads serviced before they are fitted too. All up including getting the heads serviced, new cam, gasket kit, head bolt kit, refridgerant, labour etc that its gonna cost about $2k. Got to start saving some pennies. |

dont forget cost of new exhaust. I am led to believe that the GT40's need a different intake manifold

Brett I've got ELGT extractors and didnt the EL GT have GT40ps? I've got the explorer manifold already as its a 185kw EL XR8. One thing I will need is new leads with the 90 degree boots to connect to the plugs. |

EL GT's had GT40's (not GT40P's), so they have the same plug angle as the stock E7's.

But will my extractors still fit or am I up for another set?

Worst case, you will need to change swap them out for some Pacey PH4000's. But hopefully you can work it out with the 90 degree boots and so on. Let us know how it turns out... |
