As long as you tape it up well AND leave the cap only on to the first notch so it doesn't pressurise you can drive it OK I drove mine home to QLD from Byron Bay no trouble at all, Just keep a good eye on the temp guage :P :P :P

I beeter add a quick little ditty....

Was driving up to Canberra from Albury, filled up the power steering with fluid and dropped the cap in, couldn't get it out so I grabbed one of my socks from the boot and shoved it in the top......was there for about 3 months or more after that and when people asked how the car was going i'd tell them "it's running on a sock"

good times

I broke the snout off my radiator whilst at bathurst. Of course there were no workshops open on bathurst sunday so I just had to bodgie it up. I broke the centre out of my cap (the little plastic hat) which meant that the coolant didnd pressurise. Got me all the way home to Richmond without missing a beat, or a drop of coolant for that matter
